The Preston Grasshoppers Community Foundation is delighted to announce Shard Riverside Inn as its very first Founding Foundation Sponsor.
The Preston Grasshoppers Community Foundation is delighted to announce Shard Riverside Inn as its very first Founding Foundation Sponsor a milestone moment in the launch of our charity and the objectives to support grassroots sport and strengthen community development.
Placed on the banks of the River Wyre, Shard Riverside has built a strong reputation for bringing people together through outstanding hospitality and a deep commitment to the local area.
Their sponsorship will enable us to kickstart a range of community projects, creating opportunities for people of all ages to engage in sport. This includes supporting children through educational, sport-based initiatives and helping young people at risk of anti-social behaviour to find positive pathways grounded in the values of sport.
As the first Founding Foundation Sponsor, Shard Riverside is playing a pivotal role in laying the groundwork for the Foundation’s future ensuring we can deliver programmes that will make a genuine and lasting difference.
Jake Squirrell, Head of Foundation, commented: “We’re really pleased to welcome Shard Riverside as our very first Founding Foundation Sponsor. Their belief in our vision and commitment to the community reflects exactly what we want this charity to stand for. With their support, we can create opportunities that bring real, long-term impact.”
Shard Riverside added: “As a business rooted in the local community, we’re proud to support the launch of the Preston Grasshoppers Community Foundation. We believe in the power of sport to bring people together, inspire young people, and strengthen communities and we’re excited to play a part in making that happen.”
This partnership marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter as we grow our network of supporters and expand the reach of our community initiatives.
Thank you – Shard Riverside!
