About Us

Since 1869, Preston Grasshoppers has stood as a place where people come together united by a love of sport and in particular Rugby Union.

We believe everyone deserves the chance to access the power of sport no matter their background, ability, or circumstances. Our purpose is to use the power of sport, health programmes, education, and community initiatives to break down barriers and open up opportunities for people of all ages.

Launched in 2025, the Foundation exists to reach out beyond the touchlines. We work hand in hand with schools, community organisations, local charities and councils:

Support young people to grow in confidence and ambition.

Enhance physical and mental wellbeing for all.

Offer accessible activities that bring communities together.

Create pathways into volunteering, training, and employment.

We know that when communities are strong, everyone benefits. By investing in programmes that inspire participation and build skills, we aim to create lasting impact and brighter futures.
