Meet the Trustees

 Play Belong Grow

Our trustees bring together a wealth of experience, passion, and commitment to guiding the Preston Grasshoppers Community Foundation. United by a shared belief in the power of rugby to inspire positive change, they provide the leadership, oversight, and vision that help our programmes grow. With backgrounds across sport, education, community development, and business, our trustees are dedicated to ensuring we create lasting opportunities for people of all ages to play, belong, and grow.

Lauren Sinnott

I’m a Paediatric Sister with a special interest in children’s mental health, and a proud mum to a very enthusiastic young rugby player. I’m also a Trustee at the Preston Grasshoppers Foundation, where I’m passionate about using rugby to help young people grow in confidence, feel a sense of belonging, and build brighter futures.

I believe in making wellbeing and opportunity accessible to all whether that’s through sport, volunteering, or simply creating spaces where communities can come together and thrive.

Sarah Burke

I’m a proud mum of two rugby-loving teenagers aged 13 and 15. I work locally as a social worker, with a particular focus on mental health and wellbeing.

Preston Grasshoppers has been a big part of our family’s life, providing not just sport but a real sense of community. As a trustee, my hope is to help the Foundation share that same positive experience with the wider community, ensuring more families can benefit from the opportunities and support rugby provides.

Zoe Taziker

I am a Mum of 5 and work as Children and Young Person’s Psychotherapist in various locations across Lancashire; I am passionate about supporting the physical and emotional wellbeing of young people.

I am a proud trustee of Preston Grasshoppers Community Foundation because I have witnessed firsthand the positive impact that sports, in particular rugby can bring such as improved fitness, effective communication, teamwork, resilience, camaraderie and a sense of belonging.
