Preston Grasshoppers Community Foundation are pleased to welcome Rushtons Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers as its newest Corporate Benefactor and community partner.
The partnership will support the Foundation’s work across Preston and the surrounding areas, helping it engage more young people, families and community members through inclusive sport, education and wellbeing programmes.
From introducing children to rugby and multi-sports to creating opportunities that improve confidence, physical activity and social connection, the Foundation uses the power of sport to make a lasting difference within the local community.
The support of Corporate Benefactors such as Rushtons plays an important role in helping the Foundation strengthen its existing programmes, reach more people and continue creating accessible opportunities for those who can benefit most.

Chris Calvert, Director of Rushtons Chartered Accountants, said:
“Having been involved with Preston Grasshoppers for several years, both as a member and as the parent of children who regularly use the rugby and squash facilities, I see first-hand just how much commitment goes into making Hoppers such a welcoming, nurturing and safe place to enjoy sport.
The sense of community, together with the dedication of its staff and countless volunteers, is a real testament to what a valuable local asset Hoppers is. Its emphasis on teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline and sportsmanship reflect values that are universal, both within sport and beyond it.
Our support for the Grasshoppers Community Foundation is a small way of saying thank you. If it helps other children to benefit just as mine have, that really is fantastic.”
